|The Church and Consecrated Men and Women in Religious Orders and Religious Congregations, the world over, will celebrate the opening of the Year of Consecrated Life 2014-2015 (proclaimed by Pope Francis) on 29th November 2014.
The Archdiocese of Singapore will celebrate all her Consecrated Men and Women with a special opening Mass by Archbishop William Goh on Saturday 29 Nov 2014 at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Church (Victoria Street) – All are welcome and please also spread the word.
To commemorate this special Year of Consecrated Life, the Society of the Infant Jesus (Singapore) has created a Brand New Videos Webpage featuring Videos which showcase the history, mission, charism, work and spirituality of Catholic Religious Orders and Congregations (all the religious orders and congregations in Singapore are included and many more from around the world) to promote:
- Awareness & Appreciation of the service and contributions of Religious Orders and Congregations to the Church and the world.
- Religious Vocations by providing a Resource site for Aspirants, Postulants and Novices and all discerning Religious vocations.
- Exchange & Sharing of ideas and experiences amongst Religious by serving as a Reference site for Religious to view the work of their Order & Congregation in the world and that of other Orders & Congregations.
